About Us

Partnerships for Dentists supports dental professionals by managing the business side of practice operations so they can focus on delivering excellent patient care. We are seeking a Regional Director of Operations to provide hands-on operational leadership across a select group of dental practices, ensuring consistent performance, culture, and patient satisfaction throughout the region.

Job Summary

The Regional Director of Operations will be responsible for driving practice performance, improving operational efficiency, and fostering team success. This role requires at least 2 years of multi-site dental operations experience and a solid foundation in business acumen, leadership, and relationship management. The position is remote but requires regular travel, including overnight and out-of-state visits to assigned practices.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Culture

  • Coach and support Practice Managers and office teams across the assigned region
  • Foster a culture of service excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement
  • Provide clear expectations and ongoing leadership development

Operational & Financial Oversight

  • Support full P&L performance for assigned dental practices
  • Oversee daily operational functions, including scheduling, collections, A/R, and payroll
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and guide data-driven decision-making

Strategic Planning

  • Partner with practice teams to drive growth, patient satisfaction, and efficiency
  • Identify and close operational gaps through process improvements
  • Collaborate with partner doctors and teams on practice enhancements or expansion

Technology & Compliance

  • Use dental Practice Management Software to track trends and ensure compliance
  • Conduct regular internal audits and recommend improvements
  • Assist with planning for future technology or capital investments

Relationship Management

  • Build strong, trusting relationships with doctors, office staff, and corporate partners
  • Maintain consistent communication and a visible presence across practices
  • Travel regularly to ensure support and alignment with organizational goals

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of dental operations leadership, preferably in a multi-site setting
  • Working knowledge of dental office operations:
    • Scheduling, payroll, budgeting, P&L, collections, and compliance
  • Ability to analyze and act on operational data (Excel skills preferred)
  • Servant leadership mindset with effective team-building capabilities
  • Strong communication, planning, and problem-solving skills
  • Willingness to travel regularly, including overnight and out-of-state
